      The Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office has taken special control of the situation regarding the protection of air passengers' rights at Nizhny Novgorod International Airport. The trigger for the increased oversight was the restrictions imposed on the use of airspace.

      According to the agency's press service, similar inspections are being carried out at other major air hubs of the Volga Federal District — in Kazan, Ufa, Samara, Naberezhnye Chelny and Penza.

      The transport prosecutor's office noted that special attention is being paid to the quality of services provided by airlines. Monitoring is carried out around the clock. Mobile reception desks have been set up at the airports where passengers can receive advice and submit complaints.

      Passengers whose rights have been violated are advised to contact the duty prosecutor of the Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office directly. He can be reached by phone at +7 (910) 796-59-45.

      Recall that around 10 flights were delayed at Nizhny Novgorod Airport over the past 24 hours.
