
Putin conferred an honorary title on the director of the Nizhny Novgorod library system.
23 September 2025 16:16 Society President of Russia Vladimir Putin praised the professional merits of the director of the centralized library system of the Nizhegorodsky District, Valentina Mironova. This was reported by the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, Yuri Shalabaev.
According to a decree of the head of state, Valentina Ivanovna was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation."
Mironova has devoted more than four decades to work in the library sector. For 18 years she has headed the association, which includes nine libraries serving the residents of the Nizhegorodsky District.
"I congratulate Valentina Ivanovna on such a high title, which is a well-deserved reflection of her efforts and the result of enormous work dedicated to our city and the people of Nizhny Novgorod," emphasized Shalabaev.
It was previously reported that Vladimir Putin awarded the title "Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation" to two medics from Nizhny Novgorod.
