In 2025 the autumn conscription for compulsory military service will be conducted using a new system — the Unified Register of Military Records. This was reported by Vladimir Tsimlyansky, deputy head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, the TV channel "360" reports.
According to Tsimlyansky, the register will become a key tool in the conscription process. Through this system, draft notices will not only be sent out, but draftees will be informed about possible deferrals without the need to visit the military enlistment office in person. This will make the conscription process more transparent and convenient for citizens.
The autumn draft into the army will begin on October 1 and run until December 31. The length of service remains unchanged at 12 months. The first dispatches of conscripts from assembly points will begin on October 15, which will allow the conscription process to be organized more efficiently and in a timely manner.
Tsimlyansky emphasized that all activities are proceeding according to plan and are not linked to the special military operation.
Recall that this summer Russian citizens began receiving notifications via the "Gosuslugi" portal and by SMS about the inclusion of their data in the Unified Register of Military Records. The link in the message leads to a platform where users can check whether their personal information is up to date. All men received the notifications, including those in the reserves or who have never served in the military. This is because military commissariats digitized personal files and are verifying the accuracy and currency of information about those liable for military service.
