According to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod", more than 20 digital solutions based on AI are currently being used by the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. According to the minister, these technologies are already being actively used in various areas of governance. Sinelobov said that AI processes 65% of citizen inquiries at the region's multifunctional centers. In his view, this significantly increases the efficiency of providing public services. The minister emphasized that AI development is one of the priority areas that will continue to expand actively. He also noted that the technologies are already helping to monitor the condition of road infrastructure as part of the "Smart City" project. AI-based systems allow real-time detection of road problems — from potholes and fallen signs to non-functioning traffic lights. The information is automatically sent to the relevant services for rapid response. In addition, about 20,000 video cameras currently operate in the region. They are used to ensure public order, record violations, monitor the waste collection situation, and for other urban tasks. "Artificial intelligence is becoming an important tool in the work of government agencies and helps solve a wide range of tasks," Sinelobov summed up.
