A female tram driver from Nizhny Novgorod has advanced to the final of the "Second Start" competition.

      Evgenia Frolova, a tram driver from Nizhny Novgorod, will represent the region at the federal stage of the All‑Russian professional skills competition in the "Second Start" category. The event will take place in Samara on October 3–4 as part of the national project "Cadres."

      The competition is organized by the Russian Ministry of Labour and Social Protection together with the government of the Samara Region. The category features specialists who have changed professions and undergone retraining in vocational trades.

      Evgenia Frolova won the regional stage, representing the company LLC "Ecological Projects." In the final she will have to complete a practical task — present a video profile in which participants demonstrate their professional skills, achievements and the specifics of their new profession.

      From September 17 to 29 a public vote is taking place in which anyone may support the finalists. You can vote on the portal 2s.vcot.info by signing in to the site. Up to three contestants may be selected.

      The winners will receive cash prizes: 1 million rubles for first place, 500,000 for second and 300,000 for third.

      Earlier it was reported that Nadezhda Stepanova from Nizhny Novgorod became the best seamstress in Russia.
