In the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod a heightened readiness regime has been introduced due to a ground collapse near building No. 46 on Permyakova Street. The corresponding decree was signed by the city administration.
Measures have been taken to prevent threats to citizens' lives and health. The regime has been in effect since 10 September 2025 and applies to an area within a 42-meter radius of the specified building, with a length of 50 meters and a width of 3 meters from the axis to each side.
JSC "Nizhegorodsky Vodokanal" will carry out emergency restoration work at the site of the collapse.
The city's Department of Transport and Road Management has been instructed to develop a traffic management plan for the section. After the work is completed, heavy truck traffic at this location is to be restricted, with the installation of appropriate signs.
It should be noted that in 2024 repair and restoration work on utility networks was carried out in the area of buildings No. 34–46 on Permyakova Street.
It was previously reported that a collapse occurred near building No. 174 on Agronomicheskaya Street. It was found that responsibility for eliminating the consequences was assigned to the owner of the private house, since their utilities run under the site.
