      Incidents

      On the evening of September 21, a fatal road traffic accident involving a motorcyclist and a fuel tanker occurred in the Arzamas district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the regional traffic police department reported.

      The accident occurred at the 16th kilometer of the Vyezdnoye–Diveyevo–Satis road at around 16:45. According to preliminary information, a young man born in 2009 was riding a pit bike that did not have license plates.

      While traveling on the highway, he entered the oncoming lane, where he collided with a fuel tanker. The truck was driven by a man born in 1970.

      The motorcyclist died at the scene from his injuries before medical assistance arrived. The circumstances of the crash are being clarified.

      Earlier it was reported that a motorcyclist had been hospitalized after a crash with a passenger car in Knyaginino.
