A trip to the Gorodetsky Municipal District with a visit to the Koporye Nature Reserve was held for family members of participants in the special military operation. Visitors were led along an ecological trail with spotted deer and were told about the lives of these animals. The guests learned about the characteristics and behavior of the hoofed animals in the wild. Reserve staff prepared a walk through the forest for the group, and at the end of the program everyone was able to feed a deer fresh vegetables: carrots and cabbage.

“Everything was very nice: clean, well kept, beautiful. But for me, above all, it was the opportunity to completely disconnect from everyday worries and the hustle and bustle of the city. Such immersion in the silence of the forest and close contact with animals sets you up for positivity: it brings good thoughts and emotions. Communion with nature wonderfully relieves even the greatest tension,” shared a trip participant.

The excursion was organized by the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the United Russia party as part of the “Strong Family” project. Fourteen people took part in the event.

“It is hard to overestimate how important family is for participants in the special military operation. It is their main rear, their main support. Thoughts of loved ones, I am sure, have helped and continue to help many soldiers in difficult situations, helping them to endure the hardships of the front bravely. In this sense, supporting the family members of SVO participants is the same as supporting our military. It is an opportunity to once again express our gratitude for their fighting for our country. And if today’s excursion was able to distract someone from heavy thoughts, that is already a great achievement,” said Irina Goncharova, regional coordinator of the federal party project “Strong Family” of the United Russia party in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Recall that supporting participants in the special military operation and their family members is a priority area of the party’s work and one of the main points of United Russia’s national program. This initiative underscores the party’s unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive assistance and support to those who defend the country’s interests.
