      Nizhny Novgorod HC Torpedo defeated HC Lada from Togliatti by a score of 5:1. The game took place at the Lada Arena in Togliatti, the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod club reported.

      As noted, the first goal at the 23rd second of the first period was scored by Nizhny Novgorod forward Vasily Atanasov. In the 10th minute, a goal was scored by Lada’s Dmitry Kugryshev. At the end of the first period Nizhny Novgorod player Sergey Goncharuk also scored. Thus the first period ended 2:1.

      In the second period, Vladislav Firstov scored. In the third period Nizhny Novgorod players Vasily Atanasov and Yegor Vinogradov scored. The game therefore finished 5:1.

      For the Nizhny Novgorod side this is the sixth win in a row. HC Torpedo is the only team that has not suffered a defeat this season. The Nizhny Novgorod team’s next game will be against SKA from St. Petersburg.
