      In 2025, as part of the "All the Best for Children" project of the national project "Youth and Children," more than 600 schools in the Nizhny Novgorod region will be equipped with modern equipment for life safety (OBZh) and labor classrooms. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" was told this by the regional Ministry of Education and Science.

      About 122 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes from the federal and regional budgets. Contracts with suppliers have already been signed, and deliveries of equipment to educational institutions have begun.

      For lessons in "Fundamentals of Safety and Protection of the Homeland," schools will receive life-size mock-ups of a Kalashnikov assault rifle, as well as adult-size manikin trainers for practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing first aid.

      Work and technology classrooms will be equipped with sewing machines, wood-turning lathes, vertical milling machines and manual milling machines.
