      Incidents: An accident involving a worker during the construction of a polyclinic in Novopokrovsky has become a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of safety rules during construction work."

      According to the Investigative Committee’s investigative department for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the accident occurred on 15 September during the dismantling of the guardrail around a through opening in the slab of the roof ventilation chamber room. The worker fell from a height of 3.5 meters. He was hospitalized.

      Investigators must give a legal assessment of the actions of officials who are responsible for complying with safety regulations at the construction site.

      Earlier it was reported that the injured man fell into a coma. The labor inspectorate has taken an interest in the incident at the construction site.
