      The body of a fisherman who drowned after his boat collided with a tug in the Kstovo district has been found, a source in law enforcement told NIA "Nizhny Novgorod".

      The tragic incident occurred on September 6. The motor ship "Kavkaz" was towing two barges and at the 950 km mark of the Volga navigation channel rammed a rubber boat without an engine. The man fell out of the vessel and drowned. The boat was soon found between the barges, but the search for the fisherman lasted a week.

      According to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod", the body was recovered from the river in the Kstovo district last Sunday, September 14. The deceased was identified by relatives. He was 62 years old.

      It should be recalled that checks into the incident were organized by the Nizhny Novgorod transport prosecutor's office and the Central Interregional Transport Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee.
