Legal entities owe JSC "Nizhny Novgorod Vodokanal" nearly 2.5 million rubles.

      Nearly 2.5 million rubles was the debt of legal entities illegally using the services of JSC "Nizhegorodsky Vodokanal". This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod city hall.

      From January to September 2025, specialists from the Subscriber Services Center of JSC "Nizhegorodsky Vodokanal", during scheduled inspections, identified 91 commercial properties whose owners had not contacted the company to sign contracts for cold water supply and/or sewerage services. Of these, 54 properties were non-residential premises in apartment buildings, and 37 were standalone administrative buildings.

      Work is underway on 64 properties to sign connection agreements, or measures to disconnect them from the networks of JSC "Nizhegorodsky Vodokanal" are being coordinated. Another 17 owners have already signed service contracts. At the remaining 10 illegally connected properties, disconnections from the centralized cold water supply and/or sewerage systems are being carried out.

      For the period from January to September 2025, invoices for unauthorized consumption amounted to more than 7.5 million rubles. About 5 million rubles have already been paid; 2.5 million rubles are debts of legal entities illegally using the company's services.

      Earlier, JSC "Nizhegorodsky Vodokanal" identified 50 illegally connected residential properties on Uyutny Lane in the Novinki settlement. In total, during the reported period, 75 private houses with unauthorized connections to centralized water supply and sewerage networks were found. Necessary preliminary work is being carried out at such addresses, up to restricting access to the company's services. This measure is applied as a last resort — to persistent offenders.

      The water utility reminds: after disconnection from the company's services, reconnection can be requested by submitting an application to the Design and Technical Approvals Center at: 15a Kerchenskaya St. Within 20 working days from the date of receipt of the application, JSC "Nizhegorodsky Vodokanal" will draw up a connection agreement to the centralized cold water supply and/or sewerage systems.       Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod enterprises were issued multimillion fines for wastewater discharges.
