      A road traffic accident involving a Scania concrete mixer occurred in the Kstovsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      According to the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD), the accident happened on 14 September at about 16:40 in the settlement of Leninskaya Sloboda, near house No. 9 on Zapadny Syezd. According to preliminary information, a man born in 1987, who was driving the special vehicle, lost control. As a result, the truck overturned.

      The driver sustained injuries of varying severity and was taken to a medical facility.

      The State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod Region has launched an investigation into the incident. The agency is determining whether the injured person had an employment relationship with the organization that carried out the transport.

      "We are verifying information about the possible employment of the driver with a company engaged in freight transport using specialized vehicles. We are working together with the relevant bodies. We are awaiting a conclusion on the severity of the injuries and an official notification of an industrial accident," said Ilya Moshes, head of the regional State Labor Inspectorate.

      Earlier it was reported that a drunk resident of Shakhunya stole a car and was involved in an accident.
