Students in grades 1–9 from the Nizhny Novgorod region can take part in the All‑Russian online olympiad "Safe Roads." It will be held from 23 September to 26 October 2025 on the educational platform Uchi.ru. This initiative is part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," which aims to create comfortable living conditions for Russians.
The organizers of the olympiad are the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the State Traffic Inspectorate. Its main goal is to raise children's knowledge of the rules for safe behavior on the roads.
The olympiad includes tasks that simulate real road situations. Participants must find the correct and safe solution. The tasks will cover various roles: pedestrians, drivers, passengers, cyclists and even skateboarders. Each test is allotted one hour. All participants will receive certificates, and the winners — commendations and diplomas.
Participation in the olympiad is free. A computer or tablet with internet access and a modern browser is required.
The olympiad consists of two rounds. The first takes place from 23 September to 26 October at home; the second — on 27 January at school for the top participants. Results and awards will be announced by 3 February 2026.
The national project "Infrastructure for Life," initiated by President Putin, includes 11 federal projects. These include improvements to road infrastructure, housing and utilities, road safety and transport modernization. These initiatives continue the "Safe High‑Quality Roads" and "Housing and Urban Environment" projects.
