      In Nizhny Novgorod, traffic police officers identified the driver of a Mini Cooper who transported two female passengers in gross violation of safety rules. The incident occurred on the Nizhnevolzhskaya Embankment, where an open-top car was driving with unbelted girls standing in the cabin. The video was posted on social networks and attracted the attention of law enforcement, writes the Telegram channel "Police of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast."

      The driver turned out to be a 36-year-old man. Two administrative protocols were drawn up against him: for violating the rules on the use of seat belts and for violating the rules for transporting people. The court imposed fines on the offender totaling 2,500 rubles.

      The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that such violations pose a direct threat to the life and health of road users. During sudden braking or a collision, unbelted passengers can sustain serious injuries or be ejected from the vehicle.
