      The head of the Gorodets district, Alexander Mudrov, warned residents about drones in the sky. He said this in his address posted on his Telegram channel.

      As Mudrov explained, on September 13 a Nizhny Novgorod Region drone racing championship (6+) will be held in Gorodets. The official opening of the competition will take place at 10:00 on the premises of the Alexander Nevsky fitness and wellness complex.

      "I want to warn all our residents that this is a sanctioned event, so do not be alarmed if these 'birds' appear in the sky," he noted.

      The head of the district also invited everyone who wishes to attend the championship, emphasizing that the event will be not only technically interesting but also spectacular.

      It was previously reported that a resident of Arzamas, injured during a UAV attack on August 11, continues to undergo treatment in the trauma department of one of the hospitals.
