According to the Public Election Observation Headquarters, by 17:00 on 12 September no reports of violations had been received in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
During the day the headquarters' mobile teams visited 28 polling stations in the Avtozavodsky, Nizhegorodsky, and Kanavinsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod. In addition, inspections took place at six stations in the Bogorodsky district, one in Dzerzhinsk, and two in the Pavlovsky district. There were no reasons for emergency deployments.
Observers began work in the morning, immediately after the polling stations opened. As the headquarters noted, during the voting there were no situations that required the use of additional knowledge acquired during training.
The "hotline" phones received 11 calls. All of them concerned clarification of the numbers and addresses of polling stations where residents of Nizhny Novgorod planned to vote.
Members of the Public Headquarters continue to stand duty throughout all three days of voting. The hotline operates from 08:00 to 20:00. The headquarters can be reached by phone at: (831) 267-33-47 and 8-930-718-62.
It was reported that turnout in the Nizhny Novgorod region at 15:00 on 12 September was 5.6%.
