Nizhny Novgorod gas stations continue to dispense fuel as usual. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional Ministry of Energy and Housing and Communal Services.

Recall that in early September Nizhny Novgorod residents complained of fuel shortages. Independent gas stations have been out of fuel for several days in a row. AI-92 and AI-95 are particularly scarce.

The ministry clarified that in some cases individual stations may experience short pauses in the sale of certain grades of gasoline. The cause of such delays is adjustments to the logistics schemes for petroleum product deliveries.

As the ministry noted, changes in logistics are caused by a complex production and economic situation at the region's refineries.

Nevertheless, according to the Ministry of Energy, fuel stocks at the region's oil depots are sufficient to fully cover the current demand of the population. Major fuel network operators also confirmed that no interruptions in fuel supply and sales have been recorded.

In the event of local difficulties, motorists are advised to contact the owners of specific gas stations directly. Up-to-date information about operating stations can be found on the official websites of fuel companies, as well as via navigation services and apps.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy Yuri Stankevich urged people not to stockpile petrol and diesel.
