      Society — Fares on Nizhny Novgorod buses can now be paid by geolocation. This was reported by the CRTS.

      The new option has appeared on the buses of JSC "NPAT". Previously, paying by geolocation was only possible on electric buses and trolleybuses.

      To use this payment method, you need to:

      - board the bus;

      - open the mobile app "Nizhny Novgorod Region Transport" and confirm the payment;

      - a ticket will appear on the screen, which can be shown to the inspector if necessary.

      Note that passengers will need to link a bank card to the app and enable the geolocation feature. There is a QR code inside the vehicles that provides a link to download the app. The app is also available on Google Play and the App Store.

      It was reported that Nizhny Novgorod residents will be able to pay for travel using the virtual "Siticard" in nine other regions of Russia.
