      A tourist complex with autonomous modular houses may appear in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation presented such a project to investors. This is already the sixth universal investment proposal created for the rapid launch of businesses in the region.

      All parameters of such turnkey projects have been worked out, allowing investors to begin implementation without lengthy preparations. This can save time and enable a quicker path to profit. Supporting such initiatives is part of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," which was launched in 2025 at the initiative of the President of Russia.

      The new tourist complex will consist of modular houses that do not require connection to central utilities. They are fully autonomous: equipped with solar panels, rainwater collection systems and air filtration. This makes them suitable for placement in remote and natural locations.

      Investors are offered three house options ranging from 23 to 70 square meters. To build a complex of 25 such units would require a minimum investment of 127 million rubles. The project can be implemented within a year.

      Among the advantages are eco-friendliness, advanced technology, flexible layouts and independence from urban infrastructure. Support measures are provided for investors: a preferential loan, a grant or tax relief.

      "The tourism sector in the Nizhny Novgorod Region is actively developing, and the popularity of outdoor recreation is especially growing. Accordingly, business interest in this area is increasing, and to simplify the implementation of such projects the Corporation has already developed the fourth universal investment proposal in the field of tourism," said Igor Ishchenko, General Director of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.
