      The company PJSC Rostelecom has connected high-speed Internet and IP television at the AVIATOR hotel in the town of Chkalovsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The work was carried out at the request of the company Forpost, which built the hotel complex.

      The operator’s specialists laid an optical cable to the building, installed 55 interactive TV set-top boxes and mounted 13 Wi‑Fi access points. Guests can connect to the Internet without restrictions anywhere on the hotel premises, take part in videoconferences, work online, and watch many TV channels in their rooms with high-quality images.

      The AVIATOR hotel opened this year in the center of Chkalovsk — a town closely associated with the name of the famed pilot Valery Chkalov. Tourists come here to visit the hero’s house-museum, the aircraft hangar and the House of Culture built in memory of the fallen aviator. Now the new hotel complex is also included in the tourist route: it houses a museum of polar aviation with unique exhibits related to the history of Arctic exploration.
