      Society. The regional standard for conducting medical examinations of children attending educational institutions was developed by Children's Polyclinic No. 39 of Nizhny Novgorod. The new regulations were presented at the Congress of Pediatricians of the Moscow Region "Pediatrics as an Art." This was reported by the editor-in-chief of the Stacionar‑press portal, Alexey Nikonov, on his Telegram channel.

      According to him, the document proposes a unified approach to organizing medical examinations in kindergartens, schools, colleges, boarding schools, as well as when providing services to children at home. At the same time, the entire necessary set of examinations can be completed in one day.

      In addition, the introduction of the standard will help eliminate differences in the conduct of medical examinations between regions, ensuring continuity in the work of medical and educational institutions.

      Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, speaking to the congress participants, emphasized that over the past ten years child mortality in the country has fallen by more than half. The infant mortality rate has also reached a historic low.

      Earlier it was reported that new rules for providing medical care in Nizhny Novgorod schools came into effect on September 1.
