Nizhny Novgorod volunteers can take part in the "Patriots of the Urals" forum.

      Volunteer and public organizations of the Nizhny Novgorod region can submit applications to participate in the 4th Forum "Patriots of the Urals" through September 22, inclusive. The forum will be held from November 7 to 9, 2025, in Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The event is being held at the direction of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District, Artyom Zhoga, the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District reports.

      The main program is scheduled for November 8. On that day key discussions, panel sessions, presentations of best practices and thematic sections will take place. On November 7, after participants arrive, there will be a meet-and-greet as well as a cultural program; November 9 is the day of departure for delegations. Participation is possible for all three days or only for November 8.

      "The forum each time not only changes its geography, but also restructures its content to respond to the requests formulated by the volunteer community itself. This time the forum in Novy Urengoy will take on an educational format, but we will certainly retain venues for open discussions. It is precisely the live dialogue at the 'Patriots of the Urals' that gives us the opportunity to move forward," emphasized Plenipotentiary Representative Artyom Zhoga.

      "For Yamal it is a great honor to become the venue for the 'Patriots of the Urals' forum and to host like-minded people from across the macro-region. I am confident that open dialogue on Yamal soil will allow us to combine efforts and build an even more effective system of support for servicemen carrying out the vital state task of protecting the country's sovereignty and security," noted Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov.

      The educational program of the 4th Forum will focus on the topics "Media volunteering and information support of the special military operation (SMO)" and "social project development and grant support for volunteer initiatives."

      In the second part of the forum, participants will present best practices in patriotic education of youth and programs to support participants of the SMO (rehabilitation, employment and psychological assistance). A separate section will operate for the Committee of Families of the Country’s Warriors and regional representatives of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Foundation in the Urals Federal District.

      The forum will conclude with the traditional plenary session attended by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District.

      Registration for the forum is open until September 22, 2025. Participants who pass the selection will receive an invitation by October 15, 2025. 16+
