      The chairman of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region on Economics, Industry, Support for Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism, Igor Norenkov, has been awarded a state honor.

      For merits in the field of economics and finance and many years of conscientious work, Igor Norenkov was granted the honorary title "Honored Economist of the Russian Federation." The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on September 3, 2025.

      Also on September 3, Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding a state honor — the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II class — to a member of the Public Council under the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gennady Suvorov, for his achieved labor successes and many years of conscientious work.
