      The square in the Druzhba microdistrict in Bor was opened after landscaping as part of the “Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment” project of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.” This was reported by the administration of the Bor urban district.

      As noted, the square’s territory is divided into two parts: the first part features a memorial area, and the second part includes a sports ground and a place for relaxation and walks. In addition, specialists reconstructed the street lighting and repaired all pedestrian paths.

      The cost of the work amounted to 40 million rubles; the money was allocated from federal, regional and municipal budgets. Funds from the municipal budget were also allocated for the repair of the access road to School No. 12, utility lines were relocated outside the square’s boundaries, and a number of other works were carried out to improve the adjacent territory. Now the Druzhba square has become comfortable and interesting for all residents, regardless of age or occupation.

      Recall that beginning in 2025, at the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a new national project “Infrastructure for Life” began to be implemented in Russia. Its goal is to provide citizens with social infrastructure of a new quality.
