      From 2026 companies will have the right to transfer up to one million rubles to employees upon the birth of a child, and such payments will not be subject to taxation. This was stated in an interview with RIA Novosti at the EEF-2025 by Konstantin Abramov, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the "Caring Person" platform and chairman of the Public Council under the Russian Ministry of Labour.

      He noted that the mechanism will be beneficial for both businesses and employees, as it allows them to receive significant support without tax withholdings.

      Abramov added that companies are already taking a creative approach to measures aimed at increasing the birth rate.

      According to him, it is advantageous for employers to retain trusted employees: to grant them maternity leave, provide maximum support, increase loyalty and facilitate as rapid a return to work as possible.

      Recall that Governor Gleb Nikitin has declared 2025–2030 the "Five-Year Family" in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      It was reported that from July 1 parents will begin receiving the "Gift to the Newborn" — an electronic certificate for 20,000 rubles from the governor, which can be used to purchase goods from Nizhny Novgorod producers.
