From September 3 to 5, 2025, a business visit of a delegation of industrial enterprises from the Republic of Belarus is taking place in Nizhny Novgorod. The event is being held as part of the development of international cooperation and collaboration between universities and real-sector companies.

The visit was organized by the regional Export Support Center together with the Nizhny Novgorod Scientific and Educational Center (NOC) under the national project "International Cooperation and Export."

The delegation included heads of Belarusian industrial enterprises: JSC Amkodor-Belvar (specializing in the radio industry and production of household appliances), Private Unitary Enterprise (PUE) Zavod SVT (manufacturer of radio measuring equipment), and LLC SV-Plant (specializing in various types of work: from 3D prototyping to production of industrial batches of parts and assemblies). They held a series of strategic meetings with Nizhny Novgorod industrial companies.

"The Republic of Belarus is among the top three largest importers of Nizhny Novgorod products and is one of the region's key trade and economic partners. Developing export ties with this country is an important area of activity for business support infrastructure, and we carry out this work systematically. Last year the Export Support Center and the regional Ministry of Industry organized five events involving 47 Nizhny Novgorod enterprises and representatives from Belarus. As a result of this work, Nizhny Novgorod companies concluded 105 export contracts with Belarusian colleagues totaling six million dollars," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The delegation took part in a round table at the Nizhny Novgorod Region Export Support Center, where they discussed cooperation opportunities in the development and implementation of new technologies, as well as prospects for implementing joint projects. As part of the event, they met with Nizhny Novgorod companies: JSC Zavod Trud (manufacture of metal products), LLC ITC Zavod Inkom (production of wire harnesses for the automotive industry), LLC TZK Microtek-NN (production of industrial electronics), LLC Equint Trade (trade in fertilizers and agrochemical products), LLC PTC Ferroelektrik (wholesale trade in measuring instruments and equipment), JSC PPEP Zarya (production of garden tools), LLC TD Chimavto (production of lubricants, lubricant additives and antifreezes), LLC Grancom (powder metallurgy), LLC Spektr-Auto (production of van bodies), LLC Composite Factory-Service (vehicle repair), LLC Promtekhdetail (metalworking services), LLC Elloy (production of electrical equipment), LLC Korona (production of garden tools), LLC Eurosid (production of seats for vehicles), LLC PTC Ferroelektrik (wholesale trade in measuring instruments and equipment). Representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Pavlovsky Business Incubator and the Nizhny Novgorod NOC also took part in the meeting.

"Within these meetings we not only strengthen business partnerships but also create a solid foundation for implementing specific projects in import substitution and technological cooperation. Direct dialogue between business, scientific and educational organizations and industrial enterprises allows us to exchange best practices, increase joint production potential and, most importantly, move to practical implementation of promising joint projects, including the development and introduction of new technologies and the organization of production chains," noted Alexander Tarasenko, Director of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization Nizhny Novgorod NOC.

A program of visits to Nizhny Novgorod enterprises that are key partners and participants of the NOC of the Nizhny Novgorod Region is also underway for the Belarusian companies: Instrument Group, Velam-Rus Production Company LLC, AVAtek 3D LLC, TPK Foliplast LLC and JSC Trans-Signal.

"Such meetings are extremely important to us because they allow us to establish close cooperation with Nizhny Novgorod enterprises and educational organizations. The particular value is the opportunity to see partners' potential in action directly at their production sites. This allows us to immediately assess opportunities for cooperation, exchange experience and implement concrete joint projects," emphasized Valentin Miklashevich, General Director of JSC Amkodor-Belvar.

The visit program also includes negotiations on cooperation with N. E. Alekseev Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University (NSTU), where particular attention will be paid to the training of highly qualified engineering personnel.

"This visit is a logical continuation of the systematic dialogue between Belarusian companies and Nizhny Novgorod enterprises. We highly value the mutual interest in cooperation and see a real readiness to move to practical actions. The work directly at production sites is of special value, where we immediately identify points of contact for joint projects," said Andrey Dudkin, Head of the Representation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in the Republic of Belarus.
