      Dzerzhinsk doctors saved a patient with testicular cancer, reports the Telegram channel "Bokal presseka".

      During a routine reproductive health check-up in Dzerzhinsk, a paramedic at the city polyclinic attached to Hospital No. 2 noticed an unusual swelling in the scrotal area of a 40-year-old man. The medical worker's suspicions were not unfounded. Two days later the patient underwent examinations at the Nizhny Novgorod Oncology Center, where doctors confirmed the diagnosis — testicular cancer.

      As specialists note, this type of cancer responds well to treatment, especially in the early stages. In this case the disease was detected in time, thanks to which the man's life was not only saved but his reproductive function was preserved.

      Earlier it was reported that doctors managed to save a young woman from Nizhny Novgorod with a thromboembolism.
