The State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod Region has initiated an investigation into a road traffic accident that occurred on September 2, 2025, in the Balakhna municipal district.
The incident occurred on the initial section of the Krasny Mys — Gnilitskiye Dvoriki highway. Several people were injured in the accident, including the driver of a GAZelle vehicle.
According to the inspectorate, information about this crash was uncovered during monitoring of open sources. Accordingly, the agency's specialists have begun to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
Ilya Moshes, the chief state labor inspector in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that interaction with the relevant authorities has been organized. The goal is to determine whether the incident may have been related to the performance of work duties and whether it qualifies as an industrial accident.
It was previously reported that a loader was found dead at his workplace in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
