      Since the beginning of 2025, employees of the Nizhny Novgorod metro have returned 114 forgotten items to their owners, writes IA "NTA-Privolzhye", citing data from the municipal enterprise "Nizhny Novgorod Metro".

      According to the information, passengers most often leave umbrellas, transport cards, mobile phones, spare shoes and clothing in the cars and at stations.

      Among the most unusual finds this year was an electric scooter left by one of the passengers.

      At the same time, the total number of inquiries about lost items decreased by 39% compared with the same period last year.

      It was reported that since last winter artificial intelligence has been helping Nizhny Novgorod residents find lost pets.
