      In Nizhny Novgorod, free internet has been installed in maternity hospitals in the lower part of the city — where restrictions on mobile internet are in force — as well as in the recently incorporated Kstovo district. Thus, 17 Wi‑Fi access points are operating in the regional perinatal center of City Clinical Hospital No. 40 in the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, 6 access points — in Maternity Hospital No. 4 of Nizhny Novgorod, and 4 access points — in the maternity department of the Kstovo central district hospital. The Dzerzhinsk perinatal center is equipped with 14 Wi‑Fi access points.

      As previously reported, a map of public Wi‑Fi access points has been launched in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. It currently shows more than 1,600 locations where residents of the region can connect to free internet.

      At the moment, the map with free Wi‑Fi points is available on the "Map of a Resident of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" portal (https://nn-card.ru/hotspots). You can also access the portal via the hyperlink posted on the website of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (https://nobl.ru/) in a separate menu section — "Wi‑Fi Map".

      In the mobile application "Map of a Resident of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" you can access the map without the internet. To have the map always at hand, you need to download the application (for Android smartphones, for iPhone, app marketplace RuStore); select the "Wi‑Fi Map" option; download to your device the map of the required locality (available as a map of the entire region as well as separate maps of Nizhny Novgorod, Arzamas and Dzerzhinsk). Registration in the application is not required to work with the map.

      You can report an incorrect hotspot address or the absence of internet at a point by submitting an appeal on the "Map of a Resident" portal or by calling the hotline 122 (after which you must press the number 5 — ed.) from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00, and on Saturday from 8:00 to 13:30. The map on regional resources is updated as new public Wi‑Fi points appear. Business representatives can also report their readiness to provide free internet in their establishments by filling out a special form on the "Map of a Resident of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" portal.
