The TV tower in Nizhny Novgorod will light up in honor of Knowledge Day.

      On the eve of the start of the school year, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Radio and Television Transmission Center (a branch of RTRS) prepared a themed illumination of the TV tower timed to Knowledge Day.

      The architectural and artistic illumination will adorn the city's main engineering structure on two evenings: August 31 from 21:00 to 22:00 and September 1 from 21:30 to 22:00.

      During these hours, light images symbolizing the beginning of autumn and the school season will appear on the sides of the tower. Nizhny Novgorod residents and visitors will be able to see swirling golden foliage, dynamic patterns in the form of notebook squares, and the recognizable symbol of September 1 — the school bell.

      A scrolling ticker on the tower's media facade will display the phrases: "September 1", "Knowledge Day". This light performance is intended to create a festive atmosphere and remind people of the importance of the start of the new school year.

      Earlier it was reported that Mikhail Puchkov, the Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, spoke about readiness for the school year.
