A foreign-made car hit an eight-year-old child on a scooter in Nizhny Novgorod.

      A road traffic accident involving a minor occurred in the Prioksky district on the evening of August 29. This was reported by the press service of the UGIBDD of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The accident occurred at approximately 17:55 on Pyatigorskaya Street. A 52-year-old woman behind the wheel of a Chinese Haval car struck an eight-year-old boy who was riding a scooter.

      As a result of the accident the child sustained injuries and was hospitalized in a medical facility.

      Earlier we reported that a passenger car had struck two people at a pedestrian crossing in Arzamas.
