At the A. S. Pushkin State Museum-Reserve "Boldino" it is now possible to visit the estate park using the "Pushkin Card." Tickets are available online, at the museum ticket office and at the entrance to the estate grounds, the Ministry of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

The Boldino park of the Pushkin estate is one of the few provincial parks well preserved since the 19th century and known for its picturesque landscapes. Although its layout largely took shape after Pushkin’s time, there are corners in the park that allow visitors to feel the atmosphere of the era when the poet stayed here.

Nina Zhirkova, director of the A. S. Pushkin Literary and Memorial Museum-Reserve "Boldino," notes that the autumn park is especially beautiful: holders of the "Pushkin Card" have the opportunity to see a unique natural site, go for a walk and feel the poetic atmosphere that inspired Pushkin.

The park’s focal point is a cascade of ponds created on the site of a deep ravine. From the dam of the Upper Pond one of the most striking views opens up: the curve of the shoreline, willows reflected in the water and the white railings of the "humpbacked" footbridge. Along the shore there are trees that were contemporaries of the poet, including a 200-year-old willow and an ancient oak.

From the dam of the Lower Pond the tree-covered banks and the "gazebo of tales" on the shore can be seen, from which a legend about Pushkin’s creation of his tales is associated. An avenue of acacias begins at the gazebo, turning into a winding birch alley. Apple trees grow on the slopes of the hills. In a distant corner at the foot of a hill there is a turf bench where, according to recollections, Pushkin liked to work. A particularly wide view opens from a high hill, at the foot of which the bench is situated. Buravushkina Hill is one of the oldest places in Boldino, closely linked with the history of Pushkin’s estate and the Russian village; according to legend, the poet often visited here and admired the surroundings. The landscapes have retained their pristine beauty.

Recall that the "Pushkin Card" program this year continues to operate within the framework of the national project "Family." Any Russian citizen aged 14 to 22 can obtain the card. A virtual card can be issued in the "Gosuslugi.Kultura" app. The limit is 5,000 rubles, renewed annually on January 1. Funds can be used to visit museums, theaters, exhibitions, concerts and cinemas across the country. The list of events is posted on the Kultura.RF website and is updated daily.

The national project "Family" is aimed at strengthening traditional values, supporting the institution of the family and developing a comfortable environment across the country. It includes programs to improve access to quality leisure, preserve cultural heritage and support creative initiatives.
