      Another case of illegal dumping of liquid household waste has been detected in the area of the Kudma station in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The incident occurred on August 28, 2025, and became the subject of an operational inspection by regional environmental services.

      The violation was recorded by officers of the environmental patrol department of the State Budgetary Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Ecology of the Region." During the raid it was discovered that the waste was being discharged directly onto open ground, which poses a threat to the environment.

      Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as officers of the Russian Interior Ministry's directorate for the city of Nizhny Novgorod, immediately arrived at the scene.

      The offender's identity was established at the scene. The offender has been held administratively liable in accordance with applicable law.

      The ministry emphasizes that the fight against the so‑called "black" cesspool operators in the region continues.

      Earlier it was reported that Rosprirodnadzor had found seven violations at the Nizhny Novgorod aeration station.

      It has also become known that Nizhny Novgorod authorities have stepped up control over the activities of "black" cesspool operators.
