      At a meeting of the Council on Land and Property Relations under the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, a positive decision was made to lease a plot for the construction of a new multi-purpose sports complex in the town of Bor. This was reported by a correspondent for NIA "Nizhny Novgorod".

      The project is being carried out by the limited liability company "TAUN". The facility is planned to be located in the Botalovo-4 residential district on Moskovskaya Street.

      The plot allocated for construction was previously unused. Part of it is marshy. According to the land use and development regulations, it is located in a low-rise residential development zone.

      The investment in the project will amount to 200 million rubles. The implementation period is 48 months. To begin construction it will be necessary to form the land plot in accordance with the boundary survey project, amend the territory’s layout plan and obtain a permit for a conditionally permitted type of use.

      Initially Rospotrebnadzor raised objections regarding the failure to maintain a sanitary buffer zone between the sports complex’s parking lot and residential buildings. However, after additional data on the parking were provided, the agency withdrew its remarks. The administration of the town of Bor also has no objections to the project.

      Earlier it was reported that one of the oldest sports facilities in Nizhny Novgorod, the "Vodnik" stadium, was declared unsafe and closed to visitors as of August 29.
