Google notified more than 2.5 billion users that they need to change their email passwords after a breach of the Salesforce system, where data of small and medium-sized businesses was stored, including customers' addresses. These data could have been used for further attacks.

Cybersecurity expert Sergey Rysin told the "360" TV channel that modern cybercriminals can hack any company. He recommended regularly changing passwords every six months and using complex combinations, including letters in different cases, numbers and special characters. An email breach can not only lead to the leak of personal data but also compromise Android backups, which can be used for blackmail.

Google said the Salesforce breach was carried out by the hacker group ShinyHunter, which posed as support staff and gained access to data of small and medium-sized businesses. The hackers began a phishing campaign among users. The company urged people to update their passwords and strengthen account security, noting that more than a third of users had not changed their passwords for a long time.
