A new recruitment of volunteers from Nizhny Novgorod has been announced to assist in the restoration of Kursk Oblast.

      The Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the regional #WEARETOGETHER headquarters, with the support of the regional government, are organizing another volunteer mission to the Kursk Region. Volunteers are scheduled to depart on September 2. The main task of the volunteers will be to assist in the restoration of social infrastructure facilities and housing stock damaged during hostilities.

      Volunteers meeting the following requirements are invited to participate in the mission: men aged 18 or older, willing to be on assignment for 7 days, and possessing skills and experience in construction, finishing, and restoration work.

      Volunteers will be provided with organized transportation to and from the work site (bus travel), accommodation, and organized meals. Departure by bus from Nizhny Novgorod will take place on September 2, with return on September 10.

      “The first detachment of Nizhny Novgorod volunteers has already been to the Kursk Region; the team helped residents for a week, and next week we are sending a new group. Because our help is still very much needed. Restoring peaceful life in the Kursk Region is not just construction work; it is our contribution to the future and confidence in tomorrow for our compatriots. We believe in the strength of our volunteers and that together we can do even more good deeds,” emphasized Maria Samodelkina, General Director of the Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
