A Nizhny Novgorod soldier in the special military operation was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.

      The family of the deceased participant in the special military operation, Yevgeny Malov, were presented with the Order of Courage and the Zhukov Medal. This was reported by the administration of the Nizhny Novgorod district.

      According to the administration, the ceremony for the presentation of the state awards took place in the administration building. The Order of Courage and the Zhukov Medal were presented to the hero’s relatives by the head of the district, Alexey Rybolovlev, and the assistant to the head of the mobilization division for the Sovetsky and Nizhny Novgorod districts, Eleonora Lyubimova.

      As Alexey Rybolovlev noted, Yevgeny Malov became an example of selflessness and courage.

      “Yevgeny Ivanovich is an example of bravery and courage for all of us, especially for the younger generation. We are sincerely grateful to him for the heroism he displayed,” he said.

      Eleonora Lyubimova also expressed appreciation for the serviceman’s deed.

      “We will remember the warrior who showed incredible courage and performed a feat for his Motherland. We are proud of the steadfastness and bravery of our soldiers!” she noted.
