Oksana Kislitsyna has been re-elected as Nizhny Novgorod human rights commissioner. The decision was made by deputies of the region's Legislative Assembly by secret ballot at a meeting on August 28, reports a correspondent for NIA "Nizhny Novgorod".
Kislitsyna was the sole candidate. She was nominated by the governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Gleb Nikitin.
Recall that Oksana Kislitsyna was first elected commissioner in July 2020. Prior to that she worked for more than 20 years at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Election Commission.
It was previously reported that Petr Bannikov plans to leave his post as deputy governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast in the near future.
