CEO of "OKAPOL", vice-president of the Russian Union of Chemists Dmitry Ogorodtsev took part in the HR conference "Personnel for Chemistry". The event took place on 27 August as part of the Kazan Oil, Gas & Chemistry forum. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Russian Union of Chemists.
Ogorodtsev spoke at the conference "Personnel for Industry: from Current Tasks to Strategic Solutions". He stressed that the staffing situation at chemical enterprises is directly linked to the demand for a high-quality urban environment.
As a vivid example he cited Dzerzhinsk. According to the specialist, industrial production in cities should not reduce residents' comfort. This is aided by the construction of residential neighborhoods and roads, and the development of a convenient transport system. The families of enterprise employees should have access to kindergartens, schools and leisure activities for children.
He also noted the importance of education: cooperation between local universities, secondary vocational schools and colleges, career guidance, factory tours and the promotion of chemical professions.
Many of the measures listed are already being implemented in Dzerzhinsk. The vice-president of the Russian Union of Chemists believes this experience can be applied to the development of other industrial cities.
