From 2027 the State Traffic Inspectorate will receive data on drivers' health from the Ministry of Health, reports the "360" TV channel.
The Ministry of Health clarified that changes to the procedure for the medical examination of drivers, including a new form of medical certificate, will come into force on 1 March 2027. By that time all necessary regulatory acts and detailed instructions for drivers will be prepared.
However, from 1 September 2025 a new list of diseases that prohibit driving a vehicle will come into effect. The updated list now includes pervasive developmental disorders such as autism, Rett syndrome and Asperger syndrome. In addition, disorders of color perception have been added to the list, including partial color blindness and distorted perception of red and green colors.
