Since August 21, a new feature has appeared in the mobile app "Sitikard" for users from Nizhny Novgorod Region. Now they can use the virtual transport card not only in their own region, but also in nine other oblasts and republics of Russia.
Nizhny Novgorod Region is included in the list of ten regions where you can quickly issue and pay for travel with a virtual card through the app. The "Roaming with VTC" project includes transport operators from Kaluga, Kirov, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Omsk oblasts, as well as from Udmurtia, Chuvashia and Mari El.
This solution has been implemented in the "Sitikard" app for Android smartphones with NFC support. To obtain a card from another region, you only need to change your location in the profile settings — the process takes a couple of minutes. The activation payment for the virtual card corresponds to the tariffs of the selected region.
To pay for rides, the card can be topped up directly in the app — just like a regular plastic one. To access the new feature, update the "Sitikard" app to the latest version and select the desired region.
