City Wi‑Fi can also be caught at public transport stops, but this has created new problems in the Volga capital. Car drivers, including taxi drivers, have begun to stop en masse near the shelters to catch the internet. Because of this, public transport cannot pull up to the stop to drop off and pick up passengers. Bus drivers began to complain about the emerging problem — some have had confrontations with motorists. "No one thinks that they could stop a bit further away, pull into a parking lot, walk up to the stop and sit there until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ — nobody would say anything. But for some reason they have to stop right here [at the stop], in the middle, so that no one can pull in, and people are forced to get off and on into the roadway," complained one public transport driver who had a conflict with a motorist.
Passenger car drivers, for their part, realize that they are breaking the rules, but they do not park outside the stops. They justify their actions by saying that if they stop a little further from the shelters they will lose working time.
