Torgproekt LLC from Nizhny Novgorod became the 296th participant in the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." Experts from the Federal Competence Center (FCC) will implement lean manufacturing tools at the enterprise.
The company specializes in designing and preparing facilities, their construction and commissioning.
"Torgproekt became the first company engaged in the assembly and installation of prefabricated structures to join the 'Labor Productivity' federal project in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Specialists from the Regional Competence Center (RCC) will work on site for six months. Experts, together with company employees, will conduct an audit, select a pilot production flow and identify bottlenecks. The innovations will increase output on the pilot flow and speed up production," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
He added that employees of the enterprise will simultaneously be trained in the basics of lean manufacturing.

The national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is the main instrument for shaping a new growth model.
