      On August 18, scheduled power and hot water outages will take place in Nizhny Novgorod, the city’s civil defense and emergency management department reports.

      From 08:00 to 17:00 there will be no electricity on Parkovaya, Torgovaya, Vysokaya, Poletnaya, Botanicheskaya and Martovskaya streets. At the same time, from 09:00 to 16:00 hot water will be cut off in houses No. 2, 4, 6/2, 1, 8 and 10 on Ivlieva Street.

      As the city’s civil defense and emergency management department explains, the outages are related to scheduled maintenance work on utility networks. Residents are advised to prepare in advance for temporary inconveniences — stock up on water and charge necessary electrical devices. After the work is completed, electricity and water supply will be restored to normal.
