The selection of participants for the Fifth All‑Russian Forum of Class Teachers has concluded. The forum will take place from 1 to 3 October 2025 in Moscow at the National Center “Russia.” The organizer is the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on the instructions of President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

The forum will bring together one thousand class teachers and curators of secondary vocational education groups from across the country. Among the invitees are 19 teachers from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The list includes representatives of schools and colleges from Nizhny Novgorod, Arzamas, Vetluga, Pavlovo, Sarov, Sergach and Uren.

“For me, participating in the forum is a chance to share my own experience, learn something new from colleagues, and find like‑minded people. I want to discuss both the difficulties and the joys of our profession with them. I dream of applying the knowledge gained in working with my class and making it even more effective,” said Anastasia Zhirunova, an English teacher from the Arzamas lyceum.

Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov emphasized the importance of the event, noting that the forum has already become an important federal platform for exchanging teaching practices and discussing topical education issues.

“A teacher plays a key role — he or she not only imparts knowledge but also helps shape personality, laying the foundations of future views and values. Over the years of the forum many participants’ ideas have been implemented. Such open dialogue contributes to making decisions important for the country’s future,” the minister said.

He also recalled that after the first forum a professional community of class teachers and vocational education curators was created on the social network VKontakte. It now has more than 230,000 members from 89 regions of Russia and the city of Baikonur.

This year the organizers received more than 50,000 applications from teachers across the country. The youngest participant is 19 years old, the oldest 77. Teachers from St. Petersburg and the Saratov and Novosibirsk regions were particularly active.

The selection procedure included a questionnaire, testing on the topics “History of Pedagogy,” “Fundamentals of Pedagogy” and “Assessment of Competencies,” as well as recording a video introduction on the theme “My educational practice.”

The forum will offer participants a full program including educational modules, discussions and cultural events. Experts from various fields will speak and share their professional practices with teachers.

For those who cannot attend in person, online participation is available. You can register at: vk.com/app51730148.
