The 'Privolzhskaya Fiesta' has started in Nizhny Novgorod.

      Early on the morning of 16 August, the traditional hot-air balloon festival "Privolzhskaya Fiesta" kicked off in Nizhny Novgorod. City Day began with an impressive launch of balloons from the Bor side, which then flew over the Kremlin.

      As Governor Gleb Nikitin wrote on his Telegram channel, participants greeted a magnificent sunrise, since the takeoff took place at around 4:30 a.m. The head of the region flew in one of the balloons with his wife.

      "How incredibly mesmerizingly beautiful you are, beloved Nizhny Novgorod! Happy birthday!" he wrote.

      The "Privolzhskaya Fiesta" festival is being held in the Nizhny Novgorod region for the sixth time and will last until 19 August. This year it features aeronaut teams from 12 Russian regions: the Moscow, Pskov, Kaluga, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Kostroma and Novgorod oblasts; the republics of Mari El, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan; Stavropol Krai; and Crimea.

      Earlier it was reported that on City Day in Nizhny Novgorod (6+) the groups Uma2rman, Mirazh, Reflex, Iowa, the duo Filatov & Karas, Stas Piekha and Yulianna Karaulova would perform.
