Belarusian defender Vadim Pigas has strengthened FC Pari NN.

      Sport. Defender Vadim Pigas has joined the football club Pari Nizhny Novgorod. The 24-year-old player signed a three-year contract with the Nizhny Novgorod side, the club's press service reported.

      Pigas is a product of BATE Borisov's youth system. His professional career began at Isloch, where he spent three seasons. After that the defender moved to Dinamo Minsk.

      With Dinamo, Pigas became Belarusian champion and won the country's Super Cup. For the capital club he played 64 matches, scoring three goals and providing six assists.

      In total, during his time with Isloch and Dinamo, Pigas played 141 matches, scored seven goals and made 15 assists.

      The player specializes as a right-back. His strengths include high speed, excellent stamina, attacking activity, the ability to carry the ball forward and create dangerous chances from the flank through crosses and cutbacks.

      Pigas also has experience on the international stage. He has played 17 matches in European competition qualifying rounds — the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. In addition, the defender has five appearances for the Belarus national team.

      It was previously reported that Pari Nizhny Novgorod recorded its first win of the season, defeating Rostov 1–0.
